Two Client Sites Nominated for Best Activism Web Site

On the Shortlist for Top International Honor

FAIRFAX, VA - April 9, 2003 - Capitol Advantage, the leading provider of online advocacy tools and Congressional publications, is pleased to announce that that two of its clients' sites, ActForChange and Voice Yourself, are finalists for best Activism Web site of 2003 by The Webby Awards. Both of these sites use Capitol Advantage's flagship Capwiz™ product, which powers the e-advocacy Web sites of more than 1200 organizations, to enable their users to contact elected officials and the media.

Hailed as the "online Oscars" by Time Magazine, the Webby Awards are given by the International Academy of Digital Arts & Sciences® and honor outstanding Web sites that are setting the standards for the Internet.

ActForChange combines progressive news with opportunities for citizen action. This Web site, found at http://actforchange.com/, makes it easy for people to become online activists and speak out on urgent issues of the day. ActForChange is sponsored by Working Assets, the long distance, wireless, and credit card company that donates a portion of its revenue to nonprofit groups working for peace, human rights, equality, education, and the environment.

Voice Yourself is dedicated to encouraging positive action and change through sustainable lifestyles and organic products, and to giving visitors the tools and information to make a difference through their everyday choices and behavior. Sponsored by the actor Woody Harrelson, this site can be found at http://www.voiceyourself.com/.

"Capitol Advantage is dedicated to helping people change the world through civic participation", says Bob Hansan, founder and President. "We are pleased that our clients are using these tools so effectively and that two are up for this prestigious award."

"And we are also proud to note that Congress.org, Capitol Advantage's public service Web site, is a Webby nominee in the Politics category," Hansan continued. "Congress.org makes many Capwiz functions available to the general public, enabling visitors to find and contact their elected officials, register to vote, learn about the hot issues of the day, and see action alerts posted to the Capwiz Media Network by organizations using Capwiz on their own advocacy sites."

As nominees for a Webby Award, ActForChange, Voice Yourself and Congress.org are also eligible to win a People's Voice Award. Voting is open to the public until May 23 at http://www.webbyawards.com/peoplesvoice, and you can vote for one site in each category. The winners of The Seventh Annual Webby Awards and People's Voice Awards will be announced on June 5, 2003.
