Create Targeted E-mail and Phone Campaigns!
Smart Alerts allow
organizations to practice effective grassroots strategy by creating
targeted advocacy campaigns. Help your supporters send targeted
messages to their elected officials based on roll call votes, bill
sponsorship, committee assignments, states, party, and last
name. Here are a some examples of vote and sponsorship-based
messages.

Here are a some examples of vote and sponsorship-based messages:
Role Call Vote:
Yeas - "I am very
pleased that you voted YES on HB 123..."
Neas - "I am very
dissapointed that you voted YES on HB
123..."
Bill
Sponsorship:
Sponsors - "Thank you
for co-sponsoring HB 456..."
Non-sponsors - "I
urge you to co-sponsor HB 456..."
Smart Alerts can be found in the Alerts
& Messages section of the Capwiz·XC admin site, at
the bottom of the Alert Options page.
Use
Call Alerts to urge your supporters to call their elected officials
directly.
Call Alerts works like any other Action Alert – except that
the "message" consists of talking points and phone numbers to aid your
activists in calling specific officials or staffers. After each call is
completed, the Call Alert includes a simple feedback form for your
member to e-mail back to you.
Call Alerts can be found in the Alerts & Messages section of
the Capwiz·XC admin site, under Standard Alerts on the Alert Options
page.
